The message
from "Codswallop" contains these words:

She blames it on the carpet. But that was only 900 quid.

It was raised again on the local news this lunchtime and the tale gets
worse. All this work (apparently not paid for yet so someone is having
qualms) because she got a slight shock from the original installation.
Surely replacing an electric shower should cost £284 or so, not £28400.

The police precept for north Yorkshire is a good deal higher than those
for South and West Yorkshire, and no wonder given the lax financial
controls.
