I'd stick to a discrete freeview box, they seem so unreliable that if the
freeview bit died, you have a problem with the whole device

But without the Freeview built in, you'd be in trouble to start with. I
can't be bothered to programme both a Freeview box AND the PVR to record at
the same time. I would want to do it on one box and forget it.
