Just received some 10 x 100mm Turbo Coach Screws from Screwfix.


You simply cannot drive these into softwood without a large pilot hole!!!!
Let alone 'harder substrates'.

And you are surprised by this ?
You need an impact driver,
but not the type you whack on the end with a hammer !
