Default Child profile in a candlestick

I have been searching like crazy and can not find a webpage that described
how to turn a child's profile in a candlestick.

Mike Kehs has been making and experimenting with Inside/Outside
turnings for about fifteen years. In a demonstration at our club a few
months ago, he showed us how he made a head outline in one of the I/O
turnings. I think his was a Santa Claus but it could be used for a
child's head just as easily.

It actually took two I/O turnings, one with the profile of the face and
the other with the profile of the back of the head. Then parts were
exchanged between the two turnings resulting in a profile.

A very exacting process requiring both turnings made to the same scale
and aligned the same on the blanks. It also helps to have Mike's
artistic ability to be able to visualize the results.

Hope this helps,

Harry
