A proper metal toothed trowel is much much better than a little plastic
cpreader, so much easier to use.

Or do you mean a spirit level and a diamond table saw? What exactly are
you setting up?

Actually a electric tile cutter is great for tiling if you are going to
have many fiddly cuts to do.
