Default Chlorine leak In Phoenix

I used to be a consulting Engineer in integrating computers into
Industrial sites.

Spent several days in a 10 mile x 10 mile chlorine and caustic soda
plant in La.
The chlorine would leak from time to time and we had to plot the cloud
as it
moved through the site so gas masks could be put on or people moved.

It also etched the cars. Add a little moisture and you have HCL acid.

We got that installed and the turbine bearing sensors on the power
plants (2 each).

This was in the late 70's and the color monitors (yea there were a
couple) were
graphic enough as they were slated for CAD - we were able to draw the
plant,
roads, fire house, police, and everyone else roads - then show the cloud
in yellow
as it moved and masked a building or parking lot... That was kinda
fun.
Dow Chemical U.S.A. was the place. Took the Chlorine from the
Mississippi river
and when it was low in the summer, took it from salt domes which they
had many.
