Mixing ammonia and bleach is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. Toxic fumes can be
produced if chlorine and ammonia are mixed together and perhaps the
reason the reader wouldn't "notice the smell anymore" would be because
they weren't around to notice the smell anymore - this is VERY BAD
