Well if it is a modern delco radio like those in a Chevy / GM vehicle you
could always buy a wiring harness adapter that gives you labeled wires for
installing a new cd player or radio. You could use this to find out what
wires are what.

Don't forget 'switched power', 'always on' power (for memory retention),
