Actually, the Collective has already offered him a hell of a deal, that of
being a member in American society. He may deny it or pretend that it
doesn't support him, but the truth is he's a major beneficiary of the
Collective. No man is an island and especially in a society like this one.
Whether one admits it or not, as an American, everyone is benefiting to some
extent or another. It might be from government services, opportunities, or
just the use of an infrastructure that one has contributed virtually nothing
to personally. The less one has the more they benefit from the Collective.
But it is amusing to still hear people today who actually believe that what
they achieve in life solely from their own efforts, and they never
understand that anything anyone does in this country is aided in one form or
another by the dreaded Collective.

The Collective, as you call it Comrade...has simply given me the
opportunity to fail or suceed on my own. Has it given me some
assistance? Of course.

But ultimately..the choice is mine, the opportunity is mine.

And that is what makes you socialists so frightened of the Founders
intent..because it gives you free will. And free will, coupled with
personal responsiblity...is something you are frightened of. Like a
puppy presented with an open door to the outside, for the first time.

Some run free..others such as yourself..cower inside, ****ing
yourself.

Once again, Gunner mistakes a description of that which is with his own
need to project his ideology and dogma onto others...

Part of his dogma is the insistence of adding pet names to people based
not on their own ideas or writings, but on Gunner's own misunderstanding
of the world he lives in. He thinks they are insulting, I think they
are cute, as they say far more about Gunner than they do about their
intended target.

Poor Gunner.

Poor Dan...one should read his post..then read mine, and see the
logical disconnect he has between his political outlook and mine.

Its quite clear that Dan is a Socialist..and as such...my post must
set his teeth on edge and make him very upset.

He wants all to live in a Nanny State, so he has to only obey it, not
manage his own affairs..which takes brains, courage, a sense of
personal responsibility and some drive....all of which he is saddly
lacking in.

Pitiful Dan.

Yawn, yet again, more Gunner projection.

Oh well, the sun rises, Gunner posts nonsense, the world is well.
