Yes it is- the vast majority of consumers will just buy consumer grade
cheapo monitors. I could have qualified my statement by saying '0.01% of
people still buy high end CRT monitors', but I didn't think it was necessary
in the context of the thread.

There are cheap
CRT monitors of course, but replacing the high quality ones
some of us use is still fairly expensive.


I'm sure they are.That doesn't change the fact that most people will pay
100UKP for a 17" CRT monitor.
