Default How do I run a 12V 3A monitor (made for a car) into a home AC outlet?

adapter before I figure this out. Any ideaS?

Why not use a car battery? Then you can use it when AC isn't available.

That takes me back to my early Amateur Radio days, running my rig off an
on-charge 12V car battery on a tray in case of acid spillage! I used to keep
the window open in case of hydrogen build up.

A car battery is not something I'd want in my house now, but it would
certainly do the job the OP wanted.
