The shrub is a poor speaker even with a composed speech and a prompter,
left to speak off-the-cuff he's lost and jibberish is the result.

Boy ain't that the truth... a wordsmith he's not. Even prepared material
stumps him most of the time. About the only scenario that makes the little
bugger look potent in a public forum is getting him agitated. The one
thing he can do is play poker, and call you when your chatting up a weak
hand. Sadly, he doesn't do that near often enough.
