Check the dates & sources on this stuff. Then
search for later reports as to what it really was.

In all cases that I've checked (quite a few) some brain-dead
winger was quoting some long-gone brain-dead winger's bogus
claims as foorp .... found the lying blog in the archives so it must
be true ...
