Storing heat at one point of the day if energy is cheap then and releasing
it when it's needed later on isn't rocket science. That most electrical
storage heaters didn't do this is because they were cheap and nasty.

But designing one that doesn't take up more room than the inhabitant is
rocket science. Making it work efficiently is brain surgery.
