It's not, actually. All too easy to
do more damage than good. If you
really want a perfect finish you want
a tapered hand reamer - not a cone
cutter. The angles on those are too steep.


I suppose it depends on the user's
level of dexterity and the taper of
the cone. Your preference for the
hand job has been long apparent, and
you shouldn't be denied the comfort of it.:-)
