I've been given 2 gas bottles of Butane, now can i use this on my patio
heater and BBQ, the patio heater says only Propane. Havent got my bbq
manual handy yet.

Anyone know if this is safe?

For the environment ?

No

for you ?

I hope not

Well, if He Gets some fine mesh - a tea-strainer, for instance -
and puts this OVER the threads BEFORE TIGHTENING the Connection,
then some of the Big Butane Moleculars will be sliced (or "CRACKED",
in Technical Languadge) up *into little bits* as they pass through
the Mecanism, and the BIG little BITS Left Over will be propaine,
and the little bits will be Meethane, or mainly so (WE WON'T worry
about the intricacys as this isn't a TECHNICAL NECESSITY) and they
might BURN as there sposed too in the BURNER, the smorl chemical
Entitys left over will be totally combusticated also as well...
Any Leeks can be prevented with a pair of old socks, moistened
with egg white, and tested by waving a gasometer about in the
general vicinity.
