Last time I checked, heating oil was available (1000 litres) at
29.34p.

Check again - 2000 litres has just cost us 34.95p/litre (discounted
for prompt payment).

2000 litres delivered today to one of my oil boiler clients at 28.6
pence/litre. I watched as it was pumped in. Supplied by Northern Energy

Was that including 5% VAT?

As my tank is half full at the moment I didn't think to ask, but either way
it is certainly a significant reduction from the peak prices of a few weeks
ago.
