Option 4 - run the cable to some convenient place and attach it to the
cable
modem at the entry point. Connect the modem to a wireless router. Add
a wireless connection to your computer. That minimizes the cable run and
ensures that you only need to drill one hole to whatever entry point you
decide. This can be in the basement/utility room/whatever.

This is the way it is set up now. I forgot to put the modem in there.
