Thanks for pointing it out, but I really couldn't care less. I do stuff
to our house because we live here and that's how we want things. I
cannot understand how so many people can think that the 'future resale
vlaue' of the house needs to be considered every time you consider doing
something!

Absolutely. The only really good reason for doing
some work on your own house is because it's something
you're going to get the benefit of.
