I would imagine that moderating a ng w/ substantial volume would be a big
job, as well.

Being new here I'm pretty sure my opinion is fairly worthless, but I
would
vote for just using scorefiles or kill files instead of having a
moderator.
Pretty easy if you are using Pan, Knode or slrn, Im sure windows has
some
excellent newsreaders also.
