I've painted around 10 new-plasterred room in the last two years ir so.

I leave the plaster to dry for as long as opssible (2 weeks or so min), and
then paint it with B&Q's cheapest emulsion mixed with water and PVA - ration
of around (never measured) 5:2:1 Paint:Water:PVA. Once dry I apply the
colour of my choise on top.

Never had any problem.
