Ah.... circus people. I can imagine. The one time I bought from the
big tent guys was a combination wrench set. This was about 1990, and I
still have it. The wrenches are a bit over size, and are loose. They
tend to round out the nuts.

Now, before I bought this second grinder from Menards, I had purchased
another generic brand grinder from one of these ripoff places that
goes from town to town, sets up a tent, and sells tools. When I used
that grinder the first time, it lasted a total of about 10 minutes
before the smoke began pouring out of it, and it just burned out and
died. I was not working it very hard either. Now that was a waste of
money, and there was no place to return the piece of ****.

Like their pictures aren't be taken at every the toll booth anyway -

The difference that the toll both used and the date, time, and direction

Going to visit your lover and use an EZ pass? Your spouse opens the bill

There are those Democrats who are actively running AGAINST the President and
even against Nancy Pelosi.

But irrespective of their positions and even whether any particular Democrat
is a "Blue Dog," his or her first vote in the House of Representatives will
be for Nancy Pelosi as Speaker.

That vote, in turn, influences every susbsequent committee assignment,
chairmanships, bill submission, and vote or non-vote. Just today we see that
the House will adjourn tomorrow without voting on a budget, a tax package,
or some twenty other must-pass bills.

---

Regarding taxes, assuming the Congress returns the second week in November
when there are only six weeks remaining before the Bush tax cuts expire; but
sorting out who gets to keep a tax cut and who doesn't is only the toe in
the water.

Assuming the Congress can get a bill - whatever the provisions - passed on
this matter and signed by the president in one week. That leaves roughly
five weeks before the first pay period in January.

Over 25 million firms will have to change their payroll procedures - but
they won't have the full five weeks! The IRS will have to publish new
withholding tables, allowances for dependent exemptions, capital gains
percentages, etc. Software companies (i.e. Intuit and Quickbooks) will have
to code the changes and test the modifications (remember, most state income
tax is based on the federal rate). The software companies will then have to
replicate the changes and ship the results to literally millions of their
clients. These clients, in turn, will have to install the new software
during the holiday season (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hannukah, New Years').

Even IF the Congress merely extends the Bush tax cuts, many software
packages have the original expiration built-in, and will automatically
revert to the pre-Bush rates!

Come the first payday in January, there will be an outbreak of screaming,
stabbings and assorted mayhem as things get terribly screwed up.

People will die. Fortunately, not too many children.

As I remember, the major concern was subtracting dates. For example,
if an item was purchased in 1999, and returned to the store in 2000.

Yeah, most everything.

But the IT types started working on the problem as much as ten years in
advance as many things that happen now culminate many years in the futu
mortgages, time deposits, warranties, etc.

Some things that start now, end up a week or two hence: pay periods, for
example.

It's much like playing the teleppone game. We did this at a party when
I was maybe 6 or 7 years old. I'd sure love to know what the message
was when it started. But, at the end of the dozen or so kids, the
message was "Jeanette has ketchup in her ears." Oh, Jeanette was the
birthday girl.

Gotta love it when the ends of threads have nothing to do with the
original
post.

FWIW, my opinion of Harbor Freight is the same as it is for
Walmart.....

Lets see..... 99 minus 00.

Were there other things that were going to fail?

Oh, little things - like compounding interest on loads, CDs, mortgages, etc

Today I used several HF tool tips in my Dremel tool. Helping a friend
do brake work. The grinder tip was OK, the wire bush wheel sure was
helpful.

Hey, how about them San Francisco Homophonic Orchestra? Bunch of fags
who play music together. They are great when they go to a restaurant.
They all order the same items. They are homomenuic. They drive the
same car, they are homoautic.

Do you suck a homophica, or blow it? Does someone make a homophica
which is three inches longer?
