Purchased/installed in 1984, dedicated copper hot/cold lines, spigots (which

Set it to hot/cold and start it, it always yielded a nice strong stream
of water to fill the bucket.

Now I get a small dribble of hot. Completed a wash yesterday, but it looks
-awful- slow. Something's wrong. LInes, hoses look OK.

Any ideas?

Both ends of each hose have mesh filters which are most likely
partially plugged with rust/calcium or whatever. Remove the hoses and
clean the mesh filters or replace them...they are quite inexpensive
and can be purchased at plumbing shops or most large hardware chains.
Take one of the old ones with you if in doubt. Probably need a small
flat blade screwdriver to slip in around the filter in order to pry it
out of the hose end. Sometimes they can be pretty tough to budge after
many years of usage.

First make sure there is good flow out of the spigots by removing the
hoses at the spigots. If the flow there is ok, follow the previous
posters and look for clogged filters on either end of the hoses.

Looks like you covered all the bases.

Cold just had some crud in it. Hot was badly jammed, had to bend it
up to get it out. Will seek replacements soon.

Many thanks (and to Frank, too).

Best,
Will
