Has anyone recently (or ever) used lignumCAD? It is a CAD program
specifically for designing furniture.

The author seems to be MIA at least at his S.F. address and the last
version was posted 2 years ago. The current binary packages have run time
problems and the source fails to compile with modern g++ versions.
Since the last release the pseudo-free modeling library it uses has gone
on to a higher major version.

This looks like an extremely promising program. It's unfortunate that it
seems to be languishing.

Any info on it would be useful.
