Default Nomadic Workbench

If you need a portable workbench (cabinetmaker style) and you need it fast,
Home Depot, that killer of Lumberyards, has a basic one for $99.99 that you
can "soup up" pretty easily. The base is fairly heavy steel and it assembles
quickly. The locking weels are large and sturdy. The top is a 54"X18" piece of
laminated hardwood that seems reasonably stable and voidless. I put a couple
of cheap slotted brackets on the back to hold a removable tool tray and ordered
a 10" woodworker's vice which wil be mounted to the front somehow.
If you'd like to see it go to http://www.edswoods.com/appendix.html
