Can someone identify this shop clamp and how to use it please ? - Clamping Tool.jpg (1/1)
Used with a bar clamp. Say the bar clamp is clamping a glued up pane. This
piece lets you put presure at points accross panel to keep it level. Could also make a banding clamp where short bar clamp clamps against on edge of a panel or board and this piece clamps against the edge to attache solid molding, etc. Lastly with many of these and many bar clamps and some cldrons - coul dbe set up as veneer press. It is one head of a multiple head bar clamp that relied on a single piece of
flat bar steel to hold long sheets or faces against a long surface. Imagine 50 of these in a row on one long 3"x1/4" ribbon of steel. |
