Default Sprunger Bros.?

After 20 years of (pretty) good service, my Sprunger Bros. 8 inch table
saw developed bearing noise. After disassembling the saw (and wondering
how, given the way it's built, it worked as well as it has), I found
that the saw arbor is badly worn where one of the bearings rides. Also,
the end of the shaft that holds the pulley is chewed up because the
pulley set screw came loose.

I can buy a new arbor, make a replacement, or....buy a new saw. Before
I present this problem to my wife, I want to make a diligent effort to
find out whether it is possible to get this part.

So here is my question: Is Sprunger Bros. Inc. of Ligonier, Indiana,
still in business, or is there any other source of parts?

Thanks for your help.

Dale Fahlbeck still supplies parts for Sprunger machines. He can be reached at 1-800-582-0319.

Somehow I suspect John Barstow didn't wait 19 years for your answer
about his 20 year-old table saw.

but maybe the table saw is still around and now old enough to be president
