I was actually thinking that having a 6 foot by 10 foot (by 12" thick) laboratory grade flat surface in the middle of the shop might be useful as a dead flat assembly area, among other things. Just saw one on eBay and was thinking... JP |

You'll need heavy equipment and a hell of a "cabinet" foundation to handle that boulder. You'd be dealing with, at least, 6500 lbs (likely more) of rock. |
