Hi fellow woodworkers,
I am wondering how well Cherry and Red Birch go together, both in natural finish. This is to add some contrast to make bathroom cabinetry more interesting. The idea is that natural red birch keeps the lighter color while the cherry darkens. You often see people mixing up maple and cherry, but I would prefer the richer grain of red birch for this project. I am thinking of using red birch for the cabinets and making the counter top and mirror frame out of cherry. Thanks in advance, Wolfgang in VT |

It will be fine if you like the look of those 2 together.
