Here's a way to avoid posting a "Test Don't Read" message on the wreck
and thereby looking like a nitwit to everybody.

Post a real item - something short but worthwhile. Everybody will think
it is a nice contribution - but you will also be able to use it as a
test!

Also, note that you can post to alt.test, and not even have to worry
about the "don't read" aspect. Just give your post a subject that you
can find.
