Default tool review Makita 3010F

I bought the Makita 3010F for a specific job - Drilling through my new
mudsill into the concrete block wall.

This drill was definitely not designed for drilling into concrete
since it is a lightweight 3/8 drill but it worked great!

The chuck is much more compact than a standard drill chuck so the tool
is only 2 5/8 high:

Controls are right where you'd want them to be for reverse and speed
adjustment. When I was looking around I saw that the drill had a
built-in LED light which I thought was silly but it really came in
handy.

Had more than enough power to go through the PT mudsill and 4 1/2"
into the concrete block.

This drill would be very handy for driving screws in tight places
since the 'speed' adjustment also seems to set the amount of power the
drill can put out.

If you need a small right-angle drill this is a good choice.
