Default Vacuum Wiring Question

Does anyone know of a way of having shop vac automatically turn on & off
when a sander is turned on and off?
Such as a master/slave outlet. Or, some other way.
I've been googling, but no luck yet
Thanks

A Craftsman "Auto Switch". See:

Buy one that has an auto socket built in

Buy an add-on auto socket controller

Reach down and flick the switch. This isn't a big problem for portable
tools.

Wireless / IR remote control. You don't actually need automatic control
of your dust ectraction, you need to avoid having to walk across the
workshop to turn it on. Remote control is nearly as good as automatic
control, and easier to arrange.

Build a controller. If you have nothing better to do, you're capable of
doing it, and you rate your time as worth less than the notional
equivalent on a Chinese production line.

Every Sears store will stock these.
