I've searched archives and woodworking magazines but don't find very much in
a way of evaluations of the festool jigsaw. I know it is expensive, but is
it worth the money? Any users have comments?

The local store does not inventory the tools but has demonstrators. If you

I have a CT 22 vac which I really love. If you check the reviews I
listed in one of the other posts you'll find lots of comments on the
Festool vacs.
Besides, I'm a member of another group and some of it's members claim
that the Festool vac is even superior to the Fein.
What do I like about my vac?
Auto on/off, variable suction (important when sanding), large wheels,
