What router bit to use for a picture frame? IMHO, it depends on the
subject of the painting / print / photo going into it. If the subject matter is classical or formal, you should have a more ornate profile, if it is a modern / informal subject, a profile with minimal detail might suit it better. But, whatever profile you use, it should not overpower or distract from the subject matter. As far as where to find router bits, any reputable web store can help you; my first stop is usually Lee Valley Tools. wrote: Can anyony suggest a router bit to cut 1 1/2" picture frame stock, and where to get them.
