Finishing question
Just in last stages of finishing an oak cabinet. Used brown mahogany poly
gel stain and poly top coat. There are two cross pieces 2 x 36 in the face frame that appear a bit splotchy compared to the rest of the cabinet. Even though the stain and the topcoats have been applied, I'm considering masking the surrounding areas and sanding down the cross pieces to bare wood and reapplying the finish. Good idea? Bad idea? Never used gel stain before. Thanx, vic -- There are 10 kinds of people - those who understand binary and those who don't |
