epoxy and finishes
Hi all
Building a rustic Kitchen table out of recycled pine floorboards and i want to fill the old nail holes, knot holes etc with 2 part epoxy, how will a limeing agent finish go covering the epoxy. will it take ok or tend to flake off ? (missus just wanted to paint it white, but i want the grain showing thru) also have a few chips and missing splinters that i was going to use epoxy and sawdust to fill .... is that ok as well, tried it out on a scrap piece and it made a invisible repair to a large indentation, but concerned about how well a finish will take. wondering if it will stand out more if the finish doesn't take to the epoxy. cheers |
