restoring teak veneer table
I have acquired a table that is teak veneer over particle board. It's an
OK table but there are gouges in the veneer which expose the particle board. Worse gouge may be 3/8-1/2" long x 1/8-1/4" wide. Any suggestions on how to fill the gouges and to blend with surrounding veneer? Also, it looks as though someone overtightened a screw to the point where it shoved some of the veneer up. Can this be moistened and then ironed to bring back to match surrounding surface? |
