Thanks for sharing.. -Jim Yeah, maybe turned the outside, carved and/or routed the inside? -- Glued up the curly maple/walnut sandwich and used a circle- cutting jig on the bandsaw. Then routed out the pie shaped cutouts using a home built template made from 1/4" MDF. It's absolutely incredible the volume of shavings that are produced routing out the compartments. Larry |
