Default New projects 1/5 card box - 1 attachment

This started out as a $.99 plain pine box at Hobby Lobby. The spacer was
too thick to hold a standard size pair of playing card boxes so it got
ripped out. The top is mahogany veneer. It's got 4 coats of tung oil on
it now, and will get several coats of satin spray poly over the next few
days. Shown is box closed (crappy digital camera won't focus properly).

I think it is nice. Sure looks like fuzzy wood though.

Thanks. It is actually "smooth" but has waves in the veneer (unless you're
talking about the felt on the inside - grin). Just the crappy (but free!)
digital camera. Wish I could shoot film. With my SLR and zoom/macro I can
take pictures that show how the grain really pops!
BTW - big thanks and a shout out to the friend in Calif. that sent me the
veneer!
