Default Wooden sink

Wow, Nice!
The theme looks almost Oriental somehow.

This IS NOT a binaries group. Please DOT NOT post (and fercyingoutlooud,
repost in a reply) binaries here, even if _you_ think they are "small".
This sort of behavior gets newsgroups pulled off of various individual
servers. When that happens, the people on those servers can no longer
see the group, post to the group, etc.

alt.binaries.pictures.woodworking is the newsgroup of choice for this
sort of thing. Or put the image up on your web page and then just post a
_link_ to it here.

Thank you.

nice job; now are you planning on trying a toilet?
an acquaintance of mine made a sink by throwing it
on the pottery wheel, glazing it, and using lusters to
finish it with halo gold. the "bathroom" is outside near
a lake where people can use it to clean their hands after
working (farming) in the fields before coming to the house.
it is gorgeous and I really envy his talent. so far the biggest
object I've turned is really quite small in comparison and
now I will have to work my way up the scale. My goal is
to turn dough mixing bowls for making bread and fruit bowls.
that will be a challenge on my 6" lathe. I will have to use the
lathe on the outboard side and don't have the tools for it yet...
nor the skill.

hope your bowl doesn't check.

Nice work, but I agree with Ecnerwal. Besides the question of rules, just
think how awful it is to try to read a thread in which the loading time
looooong for each posting.

I agree. As a matter of fact, my ISP drops all binary posts in the
non-binary groups so I didn't see the original. I'd certainly encourage
the original poster to put the pic on alt.binaries.pictures.woodworking
or a personal site as I'd like to see what folks are complimenting.

Excellent Workmanship!!!!!!

I have to agree with others that have posted comments concerning the posting
of pics on this newsgroup. It does slow things down for those that have
dialup conections and could cause other problems as well.
