FA: Heavy duty flexible shaft
this flexible shaft may interest several of you, I recall some
discussions where such a shaft was proposed - I think (but it's been a while) that it's surplus from some aerospace application, but darned if I remember anymore. Youi could use it with a small motor (say 3/4 to 1 hp) to run a buffer, or some kind of sanding disk for shaping your work like Bill Hunter does, or maybe you have some other idea. Anyway, if you can use it, the price (at least right now) is right. It's long enough for some pretty intersting applicaitons http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=3846677028 -- Bill to Email me, repair this address and use it: william_ b_ noble at msn dot com also check out http://www.home.labridge.com/~wnoble |
