Default FA: Heavy duty flexible shaft

this flexible shaft may interest several of you, I recall some
discussions where such a shaft was proposed - I think (but it's been a
while) that
it's surplus from some aerospace application, but darned if I remember
anymore. Youi could use it with a small motor (say 3/4 to 1 hp) to run a
buffer, or some kind of sanding disk for shaping your work like Bill Hunter
does, or maybe you have some other idea.

Anyway, if you can use it, the price (at least right now) is right.
It's long enough for some pretty intersting applicaitons
