Default PC-Petrifier wood hardener

Out of curiosity I just picked up a 16oz bottle of this in my local
hardware store. The price certainly beats Polyall 2000 and there is no
mixing involved. All the details are he

Anyone used it? Any good or bad comments before I ruin a potentially
really nice piece of punky maple now on the lathe? :-)
