Default Delta 46-255 lathe info

Hello all,

I'm after some info.

Rutlands are selling Delta 46-255 (although it is listed as 40-255) variable
speed lathes at £170 (down from £220). It seems to have what I'm looking for
in a lathe as I'll be using it as a hobby not a living. The main thing is
the cost seems quite reasonable and at that price it may be easier to
justify to the wife.

Can anyone recommend for or against this model. Can anyone recommend an
alternative model for around the £200 mark that is not difficult to get hold
of in the UK.

If anyone is selling one second-hand in the Bristol area feel free to drop
me a line.

Thanks in advance,

Darren 'H'
