Default Drying wood

I have just started woodturning but have read a little about it over the
last couple of years. I may be able to get hold of freshly cut wood from a
local tree surgeon and I remember reading about ways to accelerate the
drying process. I would like to cut up any wood into small pieces as I do
not have a lot of storage space. I would appreciate it if anyone could
point me towards any web sites containing advice on the subject of drying
wood ready for turning. Thanks for any help that you can give.
