Tool sharpening
Ken,
Just my humble opinion - I am a mechanical engineer with both bachelors, and masters degrees, as well as being state registered Professional Engineer.... Your fixture looks very well designed, and well constructed! Seriously. It really looks like it is very durably built, and I don't disbelieve your results. I am still sharpening freehand on my belt sander - and that has given me great results. Maybe not "decimal place" precision, but yielded good cutting tools, and fairly good consistency. However, I can see a place for your fixture, especially for someone who doesn't feel comfortable or isn't very good at freehand sharpening. Best Regards // Safe turning, Joe "Ken Port" wrote in message ... Here are some comments I recieved I just wanted to say what an excellent product your Tool Sharpening system is. It certainly takes away the hassles I used to have when sharpening tools. Thank you too for the excellent service which saw the parcel arrive just in time for Xmas. I hope 2003 is a great year for all of you at Woodcut Tools. Kind regards John Rainey Its nice to be appreciated Ken www.woodcut-tools.com |
