I knew it, it's a secret. Still can't find the sheets I had.

Any help would be better than none, Please if you can give some details I am sure there are more than just me and LeeA that need this information.

Are we allowed birary files here, just in case someone has a photocopy of a sheet or two?

You could do a Google search for sharpening (in the newsgroup section
for this newsgroup). The subject comes up every month or so.

You could do like I did and buy Leonard Lee's book on sharpening from
Lee Valley. That may be overkill because it tells you how to sharpen
everything from nail clippers to a tunnel boring machine. Well, that
is a little exaggerated, but it is an interesting book and I still use
it for a reference.

Or you could be patient until you get 30 replies telling you 30
different ways to sharpen a bowl gouge, each of which is the best way.
Then what?

As for binary, or birary files, they are not allowed on this group. We
used to use alt.binaries.pictures.woodworking for those but a lot of
us no longer are able to access any binary groups.

Yeah.. I screwed up 2 or 3 gouges, trying to do it like they did.. lol
Bonnie makes it look SO easy, sliding the detail gouge up and down the wheel to
avoid grinding a point on the swept back one... *sigh*
