work in progress again
I have managed after computer difficulties and general lack of time (why
should I be different? :-) ) to get another page up on the spruce burl. This is really starting to take shape. Comments are appreciated here or on the blog. The other side of the equation is my daughter just got word she is heading for Switzerland for a year to work and I have to get the garage/shop area ready to hold her appartment stuff for the year at least that she is gone. Turning? What turning? O, my little brother also had a heart attack and dad just got a hip replacement, so some time is gone there too. Since they are both doing great it is hard (read impossible) to complain. On the other hand, if you can get to a lathe while someone you love is in the hospital, well prayer is where you find it. When Grammy was in the hospital with one of her 7 heart attacks, I remember sitting with Grampy at the kitchen table while he sang old sea shanties and knit lobster pots because he loved her. Sometimes we are strange people. Turn in peace my friends and remember your loved ones. God is good. -- God bless and safe turning Darrell Feltmate Truro, NS Canada http://aroundthewoods.com http://roundopinions.blogspot.com |
