Hi H??
Here's a link, shows the parts that are needed, most wood lathes have a #2 Morse Taper, in the head and the tail stock, the drill chuck(Jacobs) chuck goes on the Jacobs end of the adaptor and the other end of the adaptor with the Morse Taper goes into the lathe. http://www.leevalley.com/wood/page.a...330,49238&ap=1 Have fun and take care Leo Van Der Loo On May 21, 10:35 pm, H Adams wrote: How do you put a jacobs chuck in/on the tailstock of a Jet Lathe -- H Adams |

Hi,
Your lathe probably takes MT#2 accessories in the tailstock. THis is the most common for home lathes. The best price I found on a Jacobs chuck with a MT#2 arbor is at HF http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=42340 For $10 you can't go wrong. I've been using mine for about 4 years now. Still works good as new. Dan "H Adams" wrote in message ... How do you put a jacobs chuck in/on the tailstock of a Jet Lathe -- H Adams |
