Default Interesting email from Penn State

When I checked my email this morning, I was sort of confused by one from "orders
at Penn State Ind. ....

I just put in a couple of orders from Lee Valley, but haven't ordered from PSI
in a while...

As I was about to open it, my wife looked up from her computer and said "Don't
open that one!"

Turns out that she ordered something from PSI for me as a Valentine's present
and used my computer because I'm logged in there, have the bookmark on my
browser, etc... lol

later in the morning, I get a call from PSI asking about the "expedited
shipping" that I requested... I told her what was up and gave her my wife's cell
number..

I know that I could go to PSI and check "my" order, but that would take the fun
out of it.... lol

Christmas before last my wife asks me what I would like. A belt/disk sander
would be nice I reply. What's that she asks and I try to explain. The
Canadian Tire flyer came in the junk stuff a week or two later and there was
a belt disk sander on sale at half price. When I showed it to my wife saying
that this was a belt disk sander it turned out she had one in the car trunk.
Canadian Tire gave us the difference and my Christmas budget got larger. A
week later the CT flyer had a mini lathe in it on half price sale. Now
that's cool I told my wife. She started to laugh since it turned out the
twin was in the car trunk. CT gave us back the difference. Not a lot of
surprise but a good laugh. O, my wife got me to carry the boxes out of the
car.

I went through a similar exercise. Early one January, my birthday month, I
was wound up about buying a garage door opener and she had to tell me she
had one on order from Sears for my birthday. The following Christmas we went
through the same exercise regarding a drill press from Cdn Tire. I am now
under strict orders not to buy anything from Nov1 thru Jan.

A couple years ago mine bought me a Delta MidiLathe, it arrived before
Christmas and was dropped on the sidwalk by the shop. When she saw it,
she remarked she had no idea how large it would be, and, oh, by-the-way,
Marry Christmas
Although that wasn't quite as funny as us buying each-other the same
card for our anniversary, like we did last year.

Last time I checked the trunk, there was garbage to clean out. In the words
of my wife, "you found it you clean it." Hey, it was worth a try.
