Firewood is Good - Beech
Grabbed a couple hours of turning yesterday afternoon. Devoted a section of
beech branch that still had bark to protect it from cracking. It's been a warm winter, so I really don't regret the waste of firewood. Might be one more turning in it for this morning if I'm lucky. Both ends are badly split. Just a coat of wipe-on poly right now to seal. Not sure how far I'll go toward bright with the Feltmate piece, but the goblet will go all the way. http://photobucket.com/albums/d160/G...f-4-inch-B.jpg |
